What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I like that I'm not forced into investing in characters equally, but also there's incentive to give them all at least some attention.
While some players may appreciate the added challenge and strategic depth, others may find that it disrupts the flow of exploration and narrative progression.
The story, visuals, and music are all really good (the pixelated battle art is particularly good).
Aside from the music being very good and well suited to the various scenes and areas, the more technical aspects like the way it fades in and out, sound balance with sound effects and such, is all very good.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
