How to report a wrong verdict, a missing game, or a bad store link, and what happens to a report once it arrives.

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. Crit is built on public data, and public data has gaps. A wrong verdict is a bug, not a difference of opinion.

What to send

A verdict that looks wrong. Include the game and what you think the reviews actually say. Crit's scoring is deterministic, so a wrong verdict can be traced back to the data that produced it.

A missing game. Include the Steam store link. Games appear once they have enough review history to score, so a very new or very quiet release may be absent by design rather than by error.

A broken or incorrect store link. Include the page you landed on and the game it should have gone to.

A data problem. A stale price, a description that no longer matches the game, or a tag that is plainly wrong.

What to expect

Reports that name a specific game and a specific claim get handled first, because they can be checked against the catalog directly. Crit does not take requests to raise a score, and does not remove a verdict because it is unflattering.

For how verdicts are computed, see how it works. For what Crit stores about your visit, see privacy.
