Lucah: Born of a Dream

Other reviews claim the story can become more clear in repeat playthroughs, but I have no desire to go through this again when the first time wasn't that fun aside from good combat and pretty levels, and even those fell completely apart by the end of the game.

The most I will say is that I did enjoy the story overall and it was actually a rather personal story in some places (especially after looking into the people who made the game and their inspirations).

And on top of that, the gameplay itself flows quite smoothly and the polish shows in how the controls handle.

The art style is something you'll only find in this game, and some of the cutscenes are borderline abstract, only understandable after you get context for them, which is quite ingenious.

For those who feel elation when they want to overcome a david v Goliath challenge, go crank up the difficulty and enjoy that masochistic ride.

The soundtrack may not be everyone's cup of tea with its grim tone but I found it to be very suited to the game's atmosphere.
