Roguelike is not a genre I usually get into but this one sure get me hook with the charming character, art style, outstanding music (there're total of 72 tracks shared motif used for respective unique events in the game), depth and unique crafting system using blocks grid, punishing bullet hell enemy attack and intriguing plot that get you hook into right away with its background story, also if you notice the reference or inspiration then that's even better.
It's what making this game so charming and enough for me to look past roguelike because it's just a fitting choice for story to gameplay given the circumstance these characters are in.
I'm sure it takes a lot to craft such art so I also buy them a soundtrack with extra money.
