Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
In fact, a major benefit the totems bring to gameplay is an element of strategy that Isaac typically lacks.

Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
In Isaac, boss characters may differ on colors, and therefore strength, speed or defense.

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
Delightful graphics in my opinion.

Controls
Players who bring up Controls mostly praise it.
The controls are very similar to The Binding of Isaac, though movement is a bit less slippery and shooting a bit more precise (due to the controller support adding 4 more aiming directions, and the projectiles not taking on any of your own character's momentum.)
