And the writing is extremely clever and funny.
If you're more gameplay-minded than story-focused, and if you like at least two of the major themes involved (magical girls, lovecraftian horror, Shakespeare), I absolutely think it's worth playing.
Get the soundtrack, it sounds really nice to listen to separately.
The graphics are handmade sprites- and they are really well made, but outside of the main characters they don't really feel unique for some reason?
