What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
A lot of the game is kind of generic city builder, but your city can move, go out and explore and visit other cities for trade and to complete quests, Like any good rts there are a lot of plates you have to keep spinning: lift, balance, food, water, fuel, population, four different needs to keep your people satisfied., etc.
The people in your city feel like a fairly straightforwards resource, so adding more things like say the ability to get sick and having to manage healthcare or other forms of entertainment for your citizens or whatever could be fun additions to mix up the gameplay just a little more.
The art style blends soft pastels, golden sands, detailed architecture and ethereal lighting to create a world that is both mystical and inviting.
The music is soothing, with orchestral tunes that underscore the feeling of calm exploration and steady progress.
I will say that like many others, the game is definitely a bit short and the lack of other scenarios does diminish the incentive to replay it for much more than just wanting to build a city that looks different or is a little more optimized.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
