GQ has some roguelite elements/options, but offers the option to grind xp out, choose your fights and gives a lot more freedom and stability for your character development, which will leave you overpowered if you min-max efficiently even on the highest difficulty fairly quickly.

The game offers three distinct modes: a deep, narrative-driven campaign that will easily take 30+ hours to complete, a quicker roguelike mode for those who want a faster-paced challenge, and a PvP mode where you can test your skills against other players.

fantastic game for a great price. tons of replayablity, character customization, and fun weapon/item builds.

TLDR: Get this if you enjoy deckbuilding, character optimization, roundbased combat and crazy combos.

The visuals in Gordian Quest share similarities with Slay the Spire, featuring a colourful and aesthetically pleasing art style that enhances the overall experience.

I didn't fully appreciate it at first but i was playing it on steamdeck the other day and finally had a chance to really learn the systems of gear and combat and i must say, I'm hooked!
