Smaller lobbies (Max 10 players) encourages exploration but keeps you second guessing and checking behind your back, fitting for the Lovecraft roots.

Having a title in the extraction shooter genre with a story is a breath of fresh air and the Lovecraft inspired art direction fits perfectly as you succumb to the darkness.

If you're a fan of top-down shooters. like Enter the Gungeon, this combat will feel good and fights can easily turn into a game of cat-and-mouse.

All in all I really like what the devs have done here with the gameplay, tension, world building, art style, and audio.

The sound design, story elements, character, npc's, quests and overall gameplay compliment each other so well that you'll be amazed and reminded what its like when artists are left to their artistry.

Its also a great out of the box experience as i havent encountered any bugs or glitches in my 32h of playiing the game, polish n quality assurance come to mind, words rarely used these days when it comes to videogames.
