What players think
The recurring themes across 64 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I want to stress this a bit: DO NOT BUY IF YOU DON'T HAVE NO ONE TO PLAY WITH, first time I played this, I tried to play on my own, since I'm a strong, independent woman who doesn't need no man, and ended up failling, since it's pretty much impossible to play on your own, pretty much as the store info here says, the only weapon you have is that little "star" bouncing between the two characters like they were playing volleyball or trying to wash their hands from some kind of evil deed they have done.
All in all, that's pretty much what I can say about it, it's one of those solo co-op experiences.
On the bright side, Starcrossed is a relaxed game, with chill atmosphere and gameplay.
It has a lovely art style and soundtrack, as well as a nice little story, but it has a number of flaws holding it back.
Playable via a combination of 2 or more gamepads or gamepad/keyboard or even just a keyboard (though this is not recommended) StarCrossed is a pretty particular sort of bullet-hell/arcade shooter in which coordination is key to achieve victory.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
