What players think
The recurring themes across 142 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Also it has an excellent ending, which anyone familiar with RPG's knows is about as easy to find in that genre as a unicorn.
The main positive thing to say is that it is highly functional, has some challenging fights without requiring complete optimization, and greatly de-emphasizes rng (with much of your build incentivized to reduce its presence even further, treating it like the enemy of progression that it is).
The combat is fun, but I liked the game mechanics outside of it the most.
The class system used in this game is a lot of fun and gives you plenty of freedom when it comes to character customization, not only with the skills but also because the different classes have different types of gear they can equip.
