Super fun with a unique and interesting art style, fun story, and interesting characters.
Visually, The Last Friend adopts a bold, cartoon-inspired art style that contrasts sharply with its ruined world setting.
Most of the stages will involve this style of gameplay as you rescue captured dogs, but sometimes you'll also have another objective, such as clearing burning obstructions or sneaking past a laser grid.
The soundtrack complements the pacing well, maintaining energy during fights and relaxing during camp moments without overpowering the experience.
