What players think
The recurring themes across 66 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As you can see, the music you'll hear through 95% of the game will be original music, two are short story themes when they happen and barely play, which haven't appeared in any game before, and are actually remixed, so in my opinion that's no issue either, 1 theme is from a character who reappears and plays around 3 times in total, and another one is another reappearing character which plays a total of 1 time.
These two games are what Violet Detector try to hold up the legacy to but the previous two games offered this gameplay style in a much more focused and well presented manor that offers more challenge and replayability than what this game can offer.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
