I also think this game works better as a mobile game and was clearly intended as such, and the game doesn't feel as well optimized as it could be, at least with a DS4 Controller, where i tried to press LT+RT for ages in the tutorial like i was told in order to perform the KO attack, but nothing ever happened forcing me to use the mouse, and this is a game that is recommended to play with a controller, not bad by itself since i feel a mouse works much better for this game, but still not something i liked seeing.
I got to try out Hamsterdam at EGX Rezzed in April this year, and, after giving it a good go and falling in love with the cute characters and art style, and winning a pin badge after beating a boss without getting hit, my housemate getting the plushie of Pimm, and getting free stickers, I was super excited to be able to play the full game on release.
The gameplay and combos in this game are fairly fluid, though some combos may have a slight delay.
