What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Some of these animations seem to cause significant pauses in the gameplay, too, the most noticeable that I found being when playing a stun card for the first time; the game paused for a good couple of seconds on my i7 / GTX1070 - based laptop.
Art Style/Graphics: The art style maintains a very gloomy fantasy setting & card art is quite detail with quite a bit of variation thanks to the dozens of cards; one gets the sense the developer is spending a fair amount of time thinking up & designing new cards vs. programming new gameplay mechanics.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
