The recurring themes across 70 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Well going through it one by one, the graphics are a huge step up from the flash games here, having been given the time and attention to detail needed to craft a fine universe for the world of Amberial alongside the characters within them, even though they aren't the main focus for such a creative platforming game as this right here!
No doubt though, what makes a game truly in my books, is the gameplay itself as, although I'd say the customization options for gameplay is a tad lacking, a lot of painstaking effort has clearly went into making the physics of Amberial Dreams feel as spot on as possible, as the goal of each level is to simply have your ball roll and bounce from the start to the end, simple as that!
I liked the visuals, there is a lot of variety, some of it reminded me of games like super breakout but maybe more in the snes era which I feel partly inspired the game.
The soundtrack is very and I love the use of environmental sounds, sorta adding to the music in a way, each bounce and interaction plays a sound that is in key with the music.
