In terms of the narrative, the story is cute and rather simple (a young MC feeling like they don't belong anywhere searching for their parents), but what's truly fun and refreshing is the world-building around communities of birds, puns included.
Gameplay consists of platforming through several different areas, solving puzzles along the way, with the end of each area being capped off by a song/rhythm sequence.
Turns out the graphics were indeed cute and pretty, especially the character designs and dance animations, but unfortunately the more I played, the less I liked the game.
Lucasarts used a similar changing soundtrack so much better in the Monkey Island games more than 30 years ago.
On that matter, if using a keyboard is usually easier in rhythm games, in this case, a controller might make more sense for how easy buttons are visually distinguished, versus letters, especially when stuff moves fast.
