In more detail - this is a very fun game with a story in which decisions matter.
After watching a couple of videos explaining the main mechanics and the game loop I started exploring on my own and trying to figure out what to do and how to make this game fun.
I like a lot that constant reading is broken up by turn-based row-based combat with very good graphics, and that in order to really succeed in the game, you must explore and utilize everything.
The only unfortunate aspects of the game is that you can't explore the entire map (tbf it's an entire world, the current map is already very big) and some minor features that the game could benefit from like better UI, voice acting and maybe more pictures to make the reading easier on the eyes to the average person / someone with dyslexia (also an opportunity to spice up the already great dialogue thats gets lost in word salad sometimes).
So yeah, after a rough start, the game ended up being totally worth it and I've bought every DLC to support devs and look forward to their future work (fingers crossed).
