The new graphics, art, and animations are wonderful and the game itself is little changed from the perfection it was.
The expansions make it even more interesting as you explore the different cards, characters, and endings.
Progression is driven by dice rolls, card draws, and encounters that range from minor setbacks to game-altering triumphs.
Still, it is a lot of fun either against the AI or better against other players either online or taking turns locally.
We had a great time, despite previous version's obviously dated interface and awful usability, we knew there was something magical about the game...
