What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Additional notes: Short but cute, also I really like the graphics, they are very aesthetic and have that retro vibe.
📚 The best, non-fantasy game story I've seen in my entire adult life
i was a little worried about the static-y blurry crt look combined with the color palette giving me a headache (those screenshots on the store page make my eyes hurt a little), but after my first run i realized it wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be. everything is pretty charming and cutesy; and i like the touch of visual progression in the form of the tiles changing up as you go along (took me a second play to notice).
Anyway, great design, great music, great character, etc.
- Maybe add controller support?
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
