What players think
The recurring themes across 204 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
And I'm going to be honest, I only recommend this game if you loved the first "Demonheart" and are invested in the story/characters.
A dev has clearly gotten too trigger happy with them, because they became more of an annoying time waster having to inch myself forward, rather than feeling like actual gameplay - and absolutely made up about 5 hours of my collective playtime.
Some of the characters look good in the new style, some really don't and a lot of it is in crappy 3D graphics like you would expect from a late 90's / early 2000's game.
The worldbuilding, animation, characterisation and voice acting are all top notch.
This does not happen while in menus (like inventory or journal) as these seem to register as a "pause" screen in-game, unlike conversations.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
