The themes of commitment, relationships, and sacrificing a part of yourself for another are all wonderfully integrated into gameplay and how your choices can affect the ending you end up getting.

It's brutally hard and requires an insane amount of focus and quick thinking, making for uniquely immersive gameplay that really instills the same stress and terror that Vincent experiences firsthand.

Difficulty - Probably one of the most, if not the most, challenging game that I have ever played.

Other stylistic aspects like voice acting and UI design were well-done and fitting.

There is another version, Catherine Full Body, and as a typical move from Atlus, it's a re-release/remake with an additional main character, more content, better visuals, QoL, etc.

The character design is flawless, the story is extremely sexist and leaves much to be desired from our chud main character, and yet they still could not salvage whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horse manure pile of WASTE that is the puzzle gameplay system.
