What players think
The recurring themes across 102 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Great visuals, good music, super tight controls and more than enough challenge, make for a SHMUP that fans of the genre are going love.
Equally impressive is the rocking soundtrack, thanks to the pairing of Hyakutaro Tsukumo (Technosoft) and Qwesta; a group that has taken their musical inspirations from Hyakutaro Tsukumo.
Now about the gameplay, I feel like this is mainly aimed to really hardcore players of the genre, it feels like there's no middle ground to the balance and no easy way to start getting into the game without dealing with severe punishment and memorization.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
