What players think
The recurring themes across 125 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This game reminded me of a lot of Slavic folk tales I used to read as a kid and I think that story is its main strength.
The soundtrack is one of the strongest pros of Yaga, to the point where I listen to it every day even when not playing the game!
The gameplay is pretty basic - playing on Normal (which is one of three difficulties, the other being "Story" and"Nightmare"), it felt balanced for the most part, with the game being a breeze near the end.
The graphics are done in beautiful 2D, with nicely rigged animations and some truely outstanding art.
A controller is the way to go for sure.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
