What players think
The recurring themes across 173 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The graphics are crisp and clean, and the explosions are outstanding.
Survival mode is way better than the campaign, I highly recommend trying it.
p.s. devs: this game needs multiplayer / coop to give it long-lasting value
Ok, maybe Subnautica is slightly better at the menu screen, but you get the idea.
From the realistic wave-effects (best I have seen in VR, by a long way), to the excelent sound design and professinal graphics (no 'playmobile' figures in this one!) - this is a very polished game.
The recent performance update has improved things but there's still long frame drops every time a new ship is spawned, like it's having to recompile shaders on the main thread or something.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
