Crying Suns is a strategy rogue-lite experience where you play as a clone of an Imperial Admiral and an important quest awaits you.
Upon longer playthrough (aka the whole point of roguelikes), the seams show - obvious "solves" for gameplay optimization, thin content, and some boneheaded design decisions make it feel hard to recommend in the same breath as games like FTL.

Going to menu and back solved this problem and fortunately, the game’s save system is great so I could get right to the battle again.
