What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
With a story that almost requires outside reading to understand and a cast of zany characters that'll amuse and disturb in equal turn, killer7 is worth a try just to be able to say you've done so.
(+) The control system is truly unique, usually quite intuitive and perfectly suits the on-rails nature of gameplay
The Game looks visually much better mainly of the improved High Definition (Full HD) textures.
The soundtrack is one of the best in my opinion as there are so many memorable tracks for me.
Though the game offers a chunky experience with a roughly 12-hour campaign, there is some incentive for a second run too: beyond getting to experience the story with clearer eyes thanks to the endgame revelations, the game features a postgame mode with a tantalizing new feature and much higher difficulty to satisfy returning veterans.
- The tutorials only display gamepad buttons which is good if you're using a Xbox controller but mouse and keyboard is far superior but then again confusing because the game only displays gamepad prompts.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
