I played The Eternal Cylinder when it was released on the Epic Games Store in 2021, going through the entire campaign in about 30 hours.
But I think we can also agree that these unique worlds have sometimes been paired with gameplay of the 'serviceable but nothing special' variety, or plots that are interesting but may have occasional storytelling hiccups.
We all know that they excel at crafting unique visuals and bizarre worlds.
Add to that the fantastic electronica soundtrack and you’ve got yourself a game that’s not just fun to play, but also immerses you deeply in a genuinely alien world and the mysteries buried there.
