I was in doubt someone could make smth as closer to my fav. game in many aspects to fully immersive gameplay.
A good portion of different cosmetics in the shop to buy on money you’ve made by completing the quests.
Despite the fact most of the enjoyment I gleaned from Session’s skateboarding sandbox came from simply coasting around the maps and making my own fun, there is something to be said about having some overt objectives to conquer, especially since there’s no multiplayer.
While I do not have a ton of hours put into this game I can say without a doubt that 10 hours at the time of writing this is just going to be the start, I can easily spend 45 minutes to an hour just trying to hit a clean line the way I want it to look, I know that games like this are not everyone's cup of tea (especially playing on hardcore which has got to be the most difficult/technical you can make skateboarding via controller imo) but if you are interested in skateboarding and the culture around it, while also looking for a challenge, then this game is for you.
It's a great option where I feel saying that session is too hard is unfair as when you have the right settings it can be really smooth and easy to play.
For instance, I really love how the boards themselves slowly accumulate realistic wear and tear as we thrash them with grinds, and the sound design is genuinely excellent.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
