What players think
The recurring themes across 43 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There's no experience or level-up system, so all of your character stats and abilities come from equippable items that are either handed to you through story progression or by running around and clicking/fighting everything in sight, in the hope that doing so will reward you with something valuable.
The graphics and art style of Grimshade really do remind me JRPGs of the 90s, so everyone who enjoyed these games will like Grimshade‘s look.
However, as I was playing this game in 4k, although it looked really pretty, I noticed that this game is poorly optimized for this resolution and the text is way too small.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
