Moving onto the OST, honestly, it's really a grey area for me.
Whether you're an absolute slug with Tetris (like me) or a grand master, Lumines wants you to throw away that kind of mindset out the window and relax this time, as the gameplay may present the same block dropping similarity... but that's about as close to Tetris as it gets.
Lumines Remastered is a modern revival of one of the most distinctive rhythm-puzzle games ever created, bringing the original formula forward with sharper visuals, improved audio, and a polished presentation that highlights why the series gained such a dedicated following.
Still though, get this remaster, slip on some headphones or hook your PC up to a subwoofer, get something with a d-pad and 2 buttons (you could play this with an NES controller or Wiimote for all I know), and buy this full price.
This is a must have for Steam Deck, takes me back to the PSP days and is every bit as fun.
I'd love to throw some money at new modes, new skins and songs and puzzles and missions, maybe online multiplayer?...
