The Short of it: A bit of a love letter to classics like Earthbound, Future Proof is a unique adventure/mystery story about a doomed town, soon to be struck by a meteor.
The graphics are reminiscent of the 16-bit era, and would fit in well with other games from the mid-nineties.
The concept is unusual and creates quite unique gameplay.
- Other varied points of positive appeal: the game has save points you can go back to, the writing is intriguing, the user interface is easy to understand and navigate, there are multiple endings, there are tons of different ways to die, the game has a lot of funny references to other games and even popular culture of recent years, the game is inexpensive, and I found no bugs to speak of during my playtime.
