In some ways it is similar to Warhammer Quest, and although it does not have the travel and slightly worse graphics it does have a better equipment selection and numerous interesting playable characters.

More importantly, the turn based combat model is supremely well thought out and balanced and plays differently every time depending on what characters you took on your journey.

Gameplay is fun, fight your way through each level in the campaign or quick battles, and all are replayable with your teams for gaining loot or the gold to buy more which is really good and adds nice depth and build surplus.
