It continues the alternate history started by Hollow Fragment, a story in which the Aincrad story continued from floor 76 to 100 with included complications like VRMMO gamers from other titles getting pulled in, meaning the ALO rescue Asuna arc never happened, and Sinon and Leafa actually were pulled into and trapped in SAO as well.
Lock on and camera controls do interact horribly, but you can get away with not using lock on anyways, so not the worst gameplay miss.
I love the improved 3D graphics/bigger exploration!
The voice acting in the game is excellent, but the sound file quality feels compressed.
Important to me is the much more stable framerate in LS, which generally was at 55-60 fps (with Vsync).
