What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
-Fun to play the villains and use their unique abilities, with most having great dialogue when doing pretty much anything.
+ modernized lego gameplay, feels smooth
+ For a LEGO game, the graphics are pretty impressive, nothing is re-skinned, everything looks polished and very enjoyable to explore the DC universe.
The combat also feels very improved.
The open world, the music, the voice acting (Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as The Joker, Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor), character customization... everything is top knotch.
Also the second controller regularely lost ability to start menu and the free minimap completely disappeared from UI.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
