The story starts off interesting.
I really liked the feeling that it gives when played, that of an older Tomb Raider on better graphics.
Tomb Raider: Underworld is the third of the PS3 trilogy, has some charm and still holds up quite well in terms of overall gameplay, much like the previous two.
When it comes to story though, even with good voice acting and better cutscenes, Underworld seems to take a step back as the returning villains feel almost cartoonish (frenemies never make sense), sidekicks are underdeveloped as a side effect of the radio chatter reduction and the final sequence ends up resolving itself extremely fast - not meshing well narratively with Lara's drive and motive as it was so strongly introduced in TR legend.
