Coming from Steel division and graviteam I expected better gameplay than that was given, Overall i would not recommend this game to any person that would consider themselves a RTS gamer, I got pulled into this game because i heard close combat was a good brand and i really dislike 2d games on the most so when i heard about CC:TBF with it's 3d engine and LoS etc i was hyped.

Gameplay wise its absolutely awesome ( I was never a fan of the topview of CC but now it has opened up very good, only problem I had so far is some small stuttering in one battle.

I think some of the criticism of the sound effects and animation are overblown; I didn't buy multiple versions of the CC games because they had great sound effects or realistic animation.
