What players think

i love the addition of quirky new characters, the unique weapons you can find, all the pickups and enemies, the beautiful and immersive maps, the awesome hud that puts you in POV of the playable character, and the secrets.
so far i reccomend this game to avid fans and lovers of chex quest and chex, fans of doom and doom mods, and FPS shooters overall. it's definitely a fair blast.
My only current complaints are that this game should be picked up to have dlc made based on CQ 2 and 3. considering that each of the character endings has music remastered from those two games, i don't see why not to please the fans more by adding free dlc. or cheap at that. it wouldn't be too hard to reuse some assets from the previous 5 levels and the 3 zorchmatch maps, as well as the ever large CO-OP map to make the awesome remade chex quest 2/3 maps.
Multiplayer is a cool new feature not available in any of the official versions of the original.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
