Speaking of narrative, I feel like this is the best written one yet.

The haunting soundtrack complements this aesthetic perfectly, alternating between soft piano melodies, eerie synth tones, and moments of silence that amplify the game’s tension and sense of isolation.

Thankfully, the mechanics of this game have continued the pattern of the refinement of the past three games.

The lighting, color palette, and environmental design convey a strong sense of atmosphere—rain-slick streets, dimly lit apartments, and neon reflections all work together to immerse the player in the dual world of the living and the dead.

I also found myself having to look up a guide on two moments in the game but otherwise the puzzles felt like they were at a good level of difficulty.

This made Joey feel more like a playable character then a game tool, and helped in the complexity of the puzzles.
