The characters and setting have very interesting back stories and are developed significantly throughout the series.

It has a few pre-rendered animated segments which are of very high quality, otherwise most comedy, drama and action is portrayed with moving sprites, stills, decent sfx and all upheld by excellent voice acting.

The art and music are well made, as are the occasional animated segments although the latter were made with the game's initial release art style instead of the remastered (and better) look of this version so there's a bit of a clash in visual style there.

The sudden change in Unlimited was pretty cool and interesting and the added knowledge and character development gained from playing Extra beforehand was definitely helpful and impactful.
