This was a great choice, as it felt like natural progression - though I do feel the need to warn people that this is a hard sequel and a lot of this game assumes you've played the first one and know the characters, setting, story, and comedic bits from that one.

The soundtrack supports the atmosphere with a blend of mysterious melodies and playful themes that shift naturally between suspenseful moments and comedic scenes.

Its combination of accessible puzzles, consistently funny writing, charming retro visuals, and lovable cast creates an adventure that remains entertaining from its opening investigation to its satisfying conclusion.

And this sequel is precisely what a good sequel should be: Similar enough to the original that there's no learning curve at all for returning gamers, yet with enough new material to keep the sequel from feeling like a mere remake.

Puzzles are generally inventory-based, but with some clever set pieces as well, like a devilish telephone switchboard.
