Had the most lovely time and came to love the universe and characters.
Its combination of accessible puzzles, consistently funny writing, charming retro visuals, and lovable cast creates an adventure that remains entertaining from its opening investigation to its satisfying conclusion.
The soundtrack supports the atmosphere with a blend of mysterious melodies and playful themes that shift naturally between suspenseful moments and comedic scenes.
This was a great choice, as it felt like natural progression - though I do feel the need to warn people that this is a hard sequel and a lot of this game assumes you've played the first one and know the characters, setting, story, and comedic bits from that one.
I thought the first game was pretty good, but had an inconsistent difficulty curve, strange case length pacing, and some humor that fell flat because the game seemed like it thought it was funnier than it actually was.
