Outward Definitive Edition

The different messages and mechanics when you die are really nice, there is good ideas.

Give the game a shot and if you want to play in coop it's even better!

A part to this is also the difficulty, which makes every no-hit or clean combo feel satisfying, as most enemies outside of the random little animals on every map are still a challenge if you manage to mess up fighting them.

All in all, this game is recommended to couples, or parents and kids, who want to go for a walk on the telly without leaving their couch, with some nice jaunty music to listen to and some pretty graphics to look at.

Voice acting is solid, and the towns and NPCs are somewhat immersive (they do not follow any life routines like eating or sleeping, shops are always open, most NPCs are not interactive)

Speaking of having fun, one of the most important parts for me in terms of RPGs is satisfying character customization, which Outward definitely has, to some extent (will talk about its shortcomings later on).
