The story and gameplay are still being developed, but the gameplay is truly where this game shines.

Cute premise, and cuter interactions between characters.

Also, I should probably mention that the art style, writing, and even music are quite delightful.

-the alter twin character doesn't feel very good to play; it can be tiring holding down the charge button all the time to attack, and the laser beam itself doesn't feel like it does enough damage. i understand that it does piercing damage but sometimes you don't want that for certain monsters (even if you can often choose which one you want to fight.) however, there are settings to change the way that your charge attack fires, like changing the input style or whether it is automatic, and the character has a familiar focused build that is able to get a thin selection of gifts, which helps to combat rng somewhat, not that it needs to be combatted very much because the gifts are immaculately balanced in this game already. i suppose this character is in here to introduce variety in the end, but this is likely my least favorite.
