The visuals in my opinion are impressive, very nifty and colorful, with environments way bigger than the tracks alone, hinting to possible new tracks or redesigns sharing the same scenes in the future.
Now if you need the game to play faster or slower, that is available outside of multiplayer.
There is a fully loaded campaign full of basic races with extra requirements, challenges, and exploration runs defined by speed.
If you are at home, someone can pick up a controller and join.
The soundtrack is on point, working nicely with the fast pace of the timed modes, and changing accordingly for the relaxed moments.
Faster gameplay is good for exploration mode, because you won't always have a constant stream of surfaces to accelerate on.
