Hexologic uses simplified visuals - you will see a bunch of hexagonal shapes stacked together to make rows and columns, shaping into a certain pattern.
I'd try explaining them, yet doing so with words would only be confusing, as visualizing the gameplay is much easier.
The interface is intuitive, allowing the player to focus entirely on solving puzzles without visual clutter.
The soundtrack complements this perfectly: a gentle, almost meditative arrangement of piano notes and ambient tones that encourages concentration without fading into monotony.
