What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
DLC or not, the best way to play this game is with friends (just like anyother multiplayer game)
The gameplay is simple and easy to learn but incredibly hard to master.
The game itself is not by any means pay to win, the only benefit of actually buying the dlc is the opportunity to fully customize your character in terms of color, cape, emote, music, and a far wider variety of hats, which are limited to 2 hats for f2p, and being able to use any of the shadows when you are the shadow, even if they are not currently in rotation.
It has wonderful voice acting for all the little taunts that somehow manage to still be adorable and hilarious despite any foul language!
It's full of hilarious dialogue.
You get the options to join or host a game, adjust the music and graphics to "what mom wanted" lol and see their community via social media.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
