Shenmue 1 & 2 are story-driven adventure games that were ahead of their time upon release.
The game featured incredibly detailed characters with full voice acting support, set in an interactive open word with time flow and realistic weather effects.
For my playthrough, I used the "Shenmue Audio Restoration Project," "New Coke Vending Machine," "Original Dreamcast Textures," "16:9 Cutscene Fix," and "Redreamcasted."
With Rose-tinted nostalgia glasses i give this a major thumbs up since on the PC it does look better, controls better (let's face it, the Dreamcast controller wasn't all that great, the Xbox 360 which basically is its predecessor is a hundred times more comfortable) and just gives you flashbacks and comfy nostalgia feeling.
