But I really like the way the cosmetic system works - outfits are sold as quite a few separate parts which allows you to mix and match parts of outfits to create your own outfit in ways that many other FPS games simply don't offer.
If you don't like a lack of progression, I wouldn't recommend going for this game, since the best you can get in this game would be medals and badges on your stats.
The fast paced combat is incredibly engaging, and the lowpoly modelling style as well as the graphics are already great on their own - although the community has created mods that will make the game look even better if your computer can handle it.
The map is so massive and lobby so empty that you spend most of the 15-minute round running to the next zone and you literally don't have to worry about an ambush because you can see literally anything and everything from halfway across the map.
