What players think
The recurring themes across 208 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
- The graphics are cute and very fitting for this style game.
I haven't had any issue using my controller, multiplayer works great (steam invites didn't seem to, but joining in game is fine), camera controls are excellent and allow freedom in playstyle.
Contrary to quite a few negative reviews (mainly bemoaning poor multiplayer / co-op support) I found this game to be pretty good.
- Overall, it's the same style of gameplay as the first game (tower defense) and holds up well.
- The original had a great varying soundtrack by Otograph.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
