The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

Up in till the final Act, the game takes it's sweet ass time to introduce as much new story content to set up the second half of the Cold Steel arc and pummel you with loads of side quests.

Gameplay: 7/10, This is in my opinion the smoothest combat in the series since Sky and till Daybreak and its really fun.

The turn-based combat system retains its strategic depth, emphasizing positioning, timing, and the clever use of crafts, arts, and S-Crafts.

The game also introduces more flexibility in character customization, allowing players to tailor their team’s roles and abilities to suit their preferred combat style.

The soundtrack complements this world beautifully, featuring sweeping orchestral pieces and memorable character themes that enhance emotional beats and battle intensity alike.

While the graphics reflect the limitations of the original platform, character designs, animations, and environments remain expressive.
